Destinations Covered :- Delhi - Jaipur - Agra

Day 1 - Arrive Delhi :- Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival. Transfer to hotel for the overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 - Delhi :- Morning tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight stay in Delhi hotel.


Day 3 - Delhi - Jaipur (260 kms - 5 hrs):- 
Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrial check in at hotel. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur. 


Day 4 - Jaipur :- Morning visit Amber Fort with an Elephant ride till the main entrance of the fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Rest of the day is free and optional visit to Chokhi Dhani resort - built in ethnical rajsthani style and specially in the evening they organise lot of activities like, camel ride, Puppet show, Snake charmer and handloom cloths etc. alongwith specialised Rajasthani/continental Dinner as well. Return to hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 5 - Jaipur - Agra (245 kms - 5/6 hrs) :- Drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Abandoned city) enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Continue drive to Agra and upon arrival rest of the day is free and stay overnight at Agra hotel.

Day 6 - Agra - Delhi (206 kms - 4 hrs):- Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. 
Afternoon drive to Delhi. Transfer to international airport to board flight for onward journey.

Destinations :- Delhi – Agra


DELHI AGRA (203 kms. 4 hrs. 30 min. approx.) :- Agra, the city of Taj Mahal. Once the capital of Mughal empire during the 16th -17th century, Taj Mahal is the most famous architectural wonder of India. Standing on the bank of Yamuna river, it was built by the Mughal empire Shah Jahan in 1652 in the memory of his second wife Mumtaz. It tooks 22 years to build by 20,000 artisans who inlaid the white marbles, precious and semi precious stones. Taj Mahal is the world’s greatest monument of love. Taj Mahal draws upward 3 million visitors each year.


(1300 to 1400 hours)
Afterwards, proceed to hotel in Agra where sumptuous buffet lunch awaits you.


(1400 to 1500 hours)
After lunch visit the Agra fort. The construction of Agra fort started in 1665 and was completed in 1671. The fort is built alongside the Yamuna river and spreads over 2.5 km of area. It consist a wall of Red stone and several building inside. Agra fort is the finest example of fusion architecture that has dominated Mughal period.


(1500 to 1530 hours) 
Visit to a marble factory to see the beautyful inlays of precious, semi -precious and many more stones. These stones are laid in Indian marble, black marble and Indian green marble. Marble inlay is the same art which has been used on the walls of Taj Mahal.


(1600 to 1630 hours)
Finally, before driving back to Delhi a brief visit to Sikandra - the tomb of the Mughal Empire Akbar. The tomb stands in the centre if vast garden, which is enclosed by high wall on all sides. The whole Garden is divided into four equal parts on the conventional Charbagh plan. Return to Delhi around 2130 hours stopping midway for refreshments.
